Partnerships and Collaborations
As stated in our Mission Statement, Haiti Outreach first and foremost collaborates with the people of Haiti. We work with the local and national governments, civic organizations and community groups, as well as individual citizens. This is key to our work, for the goal is that they will be enabled and empowered to provide essential public services that benefit their communities without any further assistance from us.
In addition, we partner with many other organizations, both in Haiti and the U.S. Examples include Rotary Clubs, church groups, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Water.org, World Vision, CARE, OXFAM, World Christian Relief Fund (WCRF), Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI), V3 Companies, Illinois Institute of Technology, Engineers Without Borders, the UN’s International Office of Migration (IOM) and World Food Program, Concern International, Fonkoze, Community Coalition for Haiti, Water.org, and many others. By collaborating with other organizations, we can leverage our donated dollars to accomplish more with greater efficiency.
